Complete Your FAA MedXpress Forms: Visit the FAA MedXpress portal to create an account and fill out the required forms before your appointment. You will need to bring your issued confirmation identification. Completing the forms ahead of time allows us to focus on your health and exam without unnecessary delays.
Need Assistance? First-time applicants or those unsure about how to fill out the forms are encouraged to contact us prior to the appointment. Our team can help clarify what’s necessary to avoid potential delays or submission issues.
Personalized Care: When you arrive, you will be welcomed into a comfortable, pilot-friendly atmosphere where you feel at ease. She reviews your medical history and discusses any concerns you may have prior to beginning the physical exam.
Examination: Based on the class of medical certificate you're seeking, Dr. Ferraro will conduct a comprehensive medical examination, which could include an EKG,hearing test, vision exam and urinalysis.
Advocacy for Your Health and Career: Dr. Ferraro understands the concerns pilots have about their medical exams and serves as your advocate. She ensures you are fully informed about the results of your exam and what they mean for your certification.
Certification or Next Steps: Once your examination is complete, you’ll either receive your medical certification or be given clear guidance on any additional steps required, such as further tests or consultations.
Special Issuance Support: If you have a medical condition that requires a special issuance, Dr. Ferraro will guide you through the process and work with top specialists to ensure you receive the care in a timely fashion.
